A Better DJ Service owner Edward J. Chapp began as disk jockey and music producer in 1990 and has planned several events in and around the Chicagoland area and suburbs over the past two decades. Mr. Chapp studied Sound engineering at After working several events in various atmospheres including night clubs, school dances, cooperate events and birthday parties, Mr. Chapp became passionate about weddings and the receptions that follow above all.

Although we at A Better DJ Service are qualified to and will plan any event, our primary focus of energy is on weddings. We at A Better DJ Service hold the marriage relationship to the highest regard and we are determined serve our clients with the utmost care for their wedding day that they deserve.
We will meet with every couple to create a complete song play list for their reception to ensure they will not be surprised or disappointed by anything they hear or don’t get to hear.
